There aren't many families that have had more of an impact on soul music than the legendary Womack family. And that talented family continues to make an impact through the emergence of Curtis "Binky" Womack. Binky is the son of the late Curtis Womack of The Womack Brothers and has made a career for himself as a top tier session guitarist.

Binky's career transitioned from backing his father and his uncle, Bobby Womack, to working with stars like Usher and Snoop Dogg. He now has an album out called Womack Style, and it is a tasty collection of material that touches on R&B, funk and rock -- all beautifully played and performed. One of the songs that really hit us is the funky midtempo, "When You're Wrong." It features Binky's hot guitar work but also shows him to be a fine, soulful vocalist.
