He's a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and was a key member of one of the biggest R&B and funk groups of all time. Chris Jasper made a name for himself as the keyboardist and songwriter for the legendary Isley Brothers, and continued to enhance that reputation through a dozen solo albums that he also wrote and produced, winning fans in both the R&B and Gospel circuits in the process.
Chris has also become a SoulTracks favorite. His last album, The One, became one of our most popular albums of 2014 and spawned several hits, including the terrific title track. We've been anxiously waiting to hear new music from Chris, and he's delivered us another winner in anticipation of his thirteenth album, due this Summer. "Share With Me" is a midtempo featuring Chris's familiar keyboard work and sweet vocal harmony arrangements. The song is a call from a man for the woman of his dreams to open herself to his love. It should resonate with a lot of SoulTrackers, both for its soulful vibe and for its message of love.
