Fans of true vocal excellence know the group Naturally 7. They’ve been creating jaw-dropping music for years, and have set a bar that few others can match. Now the group is back on the BMG label with a new album Both Sides Now, a jubilant and heartwarming collection of songs both original and interpretations of artists they’ve performed with over the years and admire greatly.
The new album is driven by wonderfully rich and warm harmonies in stellar vocal arrangements combined with Naturally 7’s unique talents to perform a variety of instruments simply using their voices -- a style they call "Vocal Play."
The album contains classics spanning over a century: from Anton Dvorak “Going Home” England’s most patriotic Hymn “Jerusalem” to Roberta Flack’s “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, “Sting’s Shape Of My Heart” featuring A Cappella- YouTube sensation Peter Hollens, Paul McCartney’s “Pipes of Peace”, the title track; and Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now.” Both Sides Now will be available April 13 on CD, download and streaming services along with a DVD of their Berlin Live performance with purchase of the physical CD.
We’re proud to lead off this collection with a group original, performed with Kevin Olusola of the supergroup Pentatonix.
