Songwriter, producer & musician Dwele talks about the inspiration for his music, DIY & chat-up lines with Wes Berwise in a chilled out Soul Talk Interview when he was in London recently. Born Andwele growing up on the west side of Detroit, Dwele started with piano lessons when he was just 6, he went on to play trumpet, guitar and bass and went on to do some MC'ing. Losing his dad in a tragic shooting, he used music as his therapy, putting his emotions into his writing.

Dwele's latest album 'Greater Than One' exemplifies how his songwriting has grown and developed since his first demo album 'Rize' which sold out in a week and brought him to the attention of hip-hop group Slum Village. A self confessed music addict who appreciates the way music develops and changes with life, a fact which is born out with each of the 6 albums he has produced which consistently charted in the US. We are sure there is a whole lot more to come from Dwele.
