Is new album coming from Aaliyah?

The soul music world is abuzz about the Twitter page of producer, J Dub Walker, who worked on the 2001 self-titled album by deceased R&B singer Aaliyah. On Sunday, March 4, Walker tweeted "Just got great news today; the smash unreleased song called 'Steady Ground' I produced on #Aaliyah is gonna be on her upcoming album:)"

While there have been a number of compilations and live songs issued after her August 25, 2001 death, it had been rumored for years that there were several more recorded but unreleased songs by Aaliyah. However, there had been no previous announcements about a new album. We'll wait to hear more and will pass it on when we find out.
