New York City (April 14, 2009) - Singer-Songwriter Amel Larrieux will be releasing one song every month over the next four months. The songs will be available for download with all online retailers. Her first song release was Orange Glow(released on March 3rd) , which features inspirational lyrics coupled with a neo funk sound and beat that Amel classifies as space funk. "The lyrics are about overcoming your internal constraints by doing an emotional cleansing from the inside-out," said Larrieux.
The songs that will be released in the coming months are synonymous to who Amel is- a varied and eclectic artist- and will exhibit styles from a wide musical spectrum. Her second song," Don't Let Me down" will have two versions released today, April 14; one will be an original melodic rendition and the other a dance version. All songs will be released on Blisslife Records.
