Kenya Brings Industry Experts To Share Information with "Art Voices Matter"

    Kenya McGuire Johnson returns to the music forefront this Summer, but not in the form of a major release. This time she's bringing friends to engage in a program of workshops focused on insider music business tips. Art Voices Matter is the brainchild of Kenya's company Creating Crimson, and an original concept intended to educate, inspire and equip those with the tools needed to succeed in this industry. From branding, technology, digital strategy, to songwriting.. classes will cover an array of topics dedicated to support long lasting careers. 

    "I wanted to create a space for independent artists to learn necessary tools to advance their careers direct from the artists who have successfully walked the path in the music industry. I have learned a variety of strategies from some of music industry's most prestigious professionals. Now that I have a blue print, my goal is to pay it forward.." - Kenya

    Held in Kenya's hometown of Chicago, IL, panelists include Claude McKnight (Take 6), Chantae Cann (Snarky Puppy), Mark de Clive-Lowe, Phonte, Zo!, and the legendary MC Lyte. The goal is to connect arts and community, creating a safe forum for discussion. 

    Attendees can purchase packages starting at $35.00 - $100, depending on their level of participation and workshop access. Kicking off June 17th, workshops will run through October 2017.
