A newcomer with a notable legacy, Austin Brown will be launching two debut albums for FREE this year on his website, www.austinbrown.com. Austin comes from one of the world’s greatest musical families, the Jacksons, around whom he has grown up and developed his musical talents. He is the son of Maureen “Rebbie” Jackson, and the nephew of Michael, Janet and the other seven Jackson sisters and brothers.

The first album to launch is titled 85, which was produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. The album is called 85 because that's the year Austin was born and he wants to release an album that represents that time and all of the music that he grew up with that inspired him. The next album to follow as the second release is titled Highway to the Sky. Highway to the Sky is an album Austin begin with his writing and musical team, the Backpack Kids. The "Backpack Kids" are Austin, Tommy Parker and Scott Bruzenak. For both albums, Austin worked with multiple top-named song writers, producers and musicians, including Rodney Jerkins, Grammy-winning producer Walter Afanasieff, Pharrell Williams, Q-Tip, Grammy Award-Winning Producer Jerry Wonda and many more people. Austin said he is giving these albums away to his fans as gifts to them for being so loyal and because the more important thing to him is the art of the music and for people to enjoy it. (Austin said the art is what matters. Not the money).
His upcoming single titled "Menage a Trois" will be featured on his album Highway to the Sky. To kick off 2012, Austin released a behind-the-scenes video of the making of his upcoming single "Menage a Trois."
