Detroit celebrates David Washington's 22 years on the radio

(August 28, 2022) David Washington, from Detroit, MI, celebrated 22 years on the air with his show David Washington’s 20 Grand Revue Show, last weekend in the heart of Detroit at Bert’s Marketplace, a multi-purpose venue nestled right on Russell Street, the heart of Detroit’s market place.

The event was hosted by the legendary Spyder Turner ( a Detroit favorite), whom we call “The Comedy Doctor,” and fellow radio personality, EK Rogers from Washington, D.C.

Friends, family and legendary artists were in attendance to help Mr. Washington celebrate this phenomenal milestone in radio.

Mr. Washington’s dedication and love for authentic Soul music resonates each week on his show, heard on the legendary WPON 1460 AM for the past 22 years!

It was a fantastic event and terrific way to celebrate David Washington and his wonderful show, heard not only in Detroit, but all over the world.
