(March 25, 2020) It was a smash #1 hit recorded an incredible 45 years ago (really???), but even more surprising is that “Love Hangover,” the classic jam from Diana Ross, is now back on top of the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart this week, via a new remixed version.

Originally released in 1975, “Love Hangover” zoomed to the top of multiple charts and again cemented Ross’s seminal place in the pop and soul music worlds, while also beginning a string of chart dominance in the dance music scene. The Pam Sawyer / Marilyn McLeon composition was slinky, sexy and a sign of music that would later come during the Disco Era.

The new version of the song is compliments of mix master Eric Kupper, who has also remixed several other Ross past hits over the years.
