(June 17, 2021) Fans of legendary songstress Diana Ross are rejoicing today, as The Queen of Motown has released her first new music in 15 years.

The Troy Miller-produced "Thank You" has the classic Motown vibe of, say, "You're All I Need to Get By," with a fresh, hooky refrain that plays well into Ross's discography as both a solo artist and a member of The Supremes.

It has been a decade and a half since Ross’s last studio album, the mildly successful covers album I Love You. But the iconic singer has continued to perform both on tours and at a number of high profile events, and also received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.

In a tweet this morning, Ross indicated that "Thank You" is the first single from a full album of new music that will be arriving in September. And if this is any indication of what is to come, we can't wait to hear the rest of the album. Well done!
