Variety Magazine reports that soul man Eric Benet has been tapped to play the lead role in "Trinity Goodheart," written by Rhonda Freeman-Baraka. It is a story of a family that has been broken up and about the young girl who tries to reunite it. The film will premiere at Black American Film Fest in July.
