(October 18, 2018) Usually, when we hear from legendary producer, musician and Pleasure co-founder Marlon McClain, it is good news. But today this good friend of SoulTracks informed us of the sad death of Dazz Band keyboardist and vocalist Keith Haines.

Haines joined the Dazz Band in 1996 and participated in the album Here We Go Again and the live album Double Exposure. Keith also worked with The Drifters, Ashanti, Raydio and many other artists. He also established a following for himself working with top Japanese artists over the years, including SoulTracks fave Nao Yoshioka.

As Marlon described him, “Keith was so talented and yet so humble and kind. Gone way too soon.” R.I.P. Mr. Haines. You will be missed.
