Labelle readying reunion CD

    Legendary R&B group Labelle, the 15 year home of singer Patti LaBelle and the group best known for their mid-70s hit "Lady Marmalade," will be reuniting on record via a new CD to be released on Verve Records in late September. 

    The disc, reportedly to be produced by Philadelphia International Records co-founders and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, will bring together original members LaBelle, Sara Dash and Nona Hendrix for the first time in over 30 years.
