NEW YORK - Any recording artist would be happy with the amazing accolades bestowed on superstar duo Mary Mary this season.  After the successful release of their latest album, SOMETHING BIG, earlier this year, sisters Erica and Tina Campbell went on a whirlwind journey:  immediate chart success with the album and first single, “Walking”; glowing press reviews for the album; a highly anticipated tour with co-headliners BeBe and CeCe Winans; and top awards at this year’s BET Awards and ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards.

But during an appearance on ABC’s “Good Morning America” today, while discussing their new single and video, “Survive,” and their work with the American Red Cross, the duo revealed the biggest news of all:  Erica – wife of Mary Mary songwriter/producer Warryn Campbell – is expecting the couple’s third child.   "We're grateful for all of our blessings, but this is the biggest of all. We have two incredible children and can't wait to see what our newest bundle of joy will be like!,” said the proud parents.

Taking it back to the beginning, the video for “Survive” was directed by Darren Grant, who lensed their first breakthrough hit single “Shackles (Praise You).”  The new video includes poignant images from recent tornadoes and other disasters here in the U.S., underscoring an uplifting message of survival.

Mary Mary’s sixth studio album, SOMETHING BIG, debuted in the Top Ten on the Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart this year.  Upon its release, the album immediately shot to the top of the iTunes R&B Albums chart, receiving critical raves from the press.

USA Today called the album “celebratory and thrilling,” rating it 3 ½ out of 4 stars. The New York Times proclaimed, “Listening to the record, you never forget the idea of gospel as a common denominator in American pop… These songs aren’t all explicitly about religious devotion, but they are all about striving, perseverance and straight talk…”

In addition to “Good Morning America,” other high-profile Mary Mary national TV appearances include performances on the NAACP Image Awards (Fox), The Talk (CBS), The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC), The Mo’Nique Show (BET) and the Dove Awards (Gospel Music Channel).  Mary Mary also appear as judges on this season’s edition of Sunday Best, airing on BET.
