Janet Jackson, Motown Records lead 2018 R&B Hall Of Fame nominations

(November 11, 2017) Detroit, MI - The Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame has named its nominations for the Class of 2018, and the list is winding and diverse, including Motown RecordJanet Jackson, Mary J. The top ten vote-getters will be announced in February, Black History Month, but won't be inducted into the Hall of Fame until June, Black Music Month, with a ceremony. This year's ceremony will be nationally broadcast. 

Last year's induction class included Gladys Knight & The Pips, The Manhattans, Freda Payne, James Brown, Isaac Hayes, Carl Carlton and The Impressions.
