"I'm Your Puppet" singer dies at age 72

    Robert Dickey, one half of the popular duo James & Bobby Purify, has died at age 72.  The group scored a top 10 smash in 1966 with the song “I’m Your Puppet”  and followed up with the hit "Shake a Tail Feather" before breaking up in the early 70s.

    Dickey went on to work for the Tallahassee, Florida Police Department and to become a deacon at his church. He will be missed.
