Producers Aaron W. Lindsey (Israel Houghton, Martha Munizzi, Marvin Sapp), Fred Jerkins (Brandy, Virtue) and Chris Rodriquez (Salvador, Keith Urban) contribute to the sonic variety on Joyous Salvation, and Rosario co-wrote 99% of the disk.  "The writing process on this album was very special for me.  I know I didn't write these songs! They were written by the precious Holy Spirit and I heard them during times of prayer and seeking the Lord," says Rosario. "My co-writers were also in the same flow, so the writing came easily. I don't really feel like I was in control of this album.  God was literally in control and that brings me great joy." For Joann Rosario, Joyous Salvation is much more than just the CD's title - it is a declaration of independence from a life lived far below the joyous one God has promised.  "It's about living a righteous life.  It's about living in obedience and sacrifice; it's about giving and loving people and truly being free from sin," says Joann.  "Together, this is what I call ‘Joyous Salvation'.  Living that type of life is a life without worry.  And even if something does go wrong, it's okay because you know that God is first in your life and you're seeking Him. You just wait for Him to show up.  Just wait on your miracle.  That's ‘Joyous Salvation'".
