Hi, I'm Chubby Tavares from the group Tavares. Today I want to talk to all of friends, family and fans to pay tribute to my son, Ryan Keith Tavares who passed away on November 30th, 2020. He was 51 years old.

Hi, I'm Chubby Tavares from the group Tavares. Today I want to talk to all of friends, family and fans to pay tribute to my son, Ryan Keith Tavares who passed away on November 30th, 2020. He was 51 years old.
It's not fair that a parent outlives the life of their children. My children are the heart and soul of my life. I guess that the good Lord has other plans for him in heaven. I am so grateful and blessed to have my other children with me, Lynne, Antone and Vanessa Tavares.
My son, Ryan started out his life with obstacles which he dealt with and had to overcome all of the days of his life. At the age of 14 months, Ryan contracted a sickness that was life threatening and he had to have his right leg amputated. That never stopped him. He had just started walking so he buckled down and learned how to walk again without his leg. Ryan has always been a loving person with a joyful smile on his face. He was brought up as a child of God. Everyone in his community loved him more than life.
Ryan loved to sing. He and his brother Antone had a family singing and entertainment group. They called themselves Tavares 3-G. The group consisted of other cousins. Michael, Marcus, AJ, Brent, Aaron, and Brandon Tavares They are all cousins, and all children of the group Tavares. I thought that they were great, and sometimes they opened for us, the group Tavares. They all had that Tavares sound.
Now he has been called to continue on performing in heaven. He has gone to join his brother Jason Tavares. Now they can wait for me to join them one day, when the Lord says it is my time. My heart breaks for my son Ryan. May you RIP. I love you both forever.
