(Charlotte, NC - April 7, 2010) - Grammy Award winning songstress, Stephanie Mills is releasing her first single, "Yesterday," from her forthcoming CD, BREATHLESS, independently on her own label, CJ Entertainment, she announced today. "Yesterday" is available now on itunes.com, amazon.com and stephaniemillsmusic.com. BREATHLESS, due for release in early summer, 2010, will also be available on each of the sites. Mills wrote eight of the ten songs on BREATHLESS, her first new recording since 2004's Born for This!
"I am excited about releasing my new CD," stated Mills. "I worked very hard with an Atlanta-based producer, Josiah Martin (Dave Hollister, PJ Morton) who gave BREATHLESS a 2010 sound without sacrificing my voice and vocal style. "Yesterday" is a very special tribute song. I recorded it in memory of my dear friend, Michael Jackson." Jackson and Mills were childhood friends who were both very young when they started in the music business.

BREATHLESS, is a reflection of Mills signature sound. The album features ten soulful R&B songs that describe both the beauty and sadness in relationships. "I am looking forward to hitting the road to perform some songs from the new CD, as well as some of my other hits that my fans love."

I am looking forward to working with them, visiting the children at the hospital, and lending my talent to help raise funds so they can continue to improve the lives of the children they help."
