Lead singers from The Stylistics, Blue Magic and The Delfonics team for new record

    three tenorsIn a dream combination, legendary falsetto group lead singers Russell Thompkins, Jr. (the Stylistics), Ted "Wizard" Mills (Blue Magic) and William "Poogie" Hart (The Delfonics) have teamed up with equally noted Philly guitarist/producer Bobbi Eli to create the Three Tenors of Soul and will be issuing All The Way From Philadelphia, due for Shanachie Records release on September 25th.  The disc will contain covers of classic 70s and 80s material such as AWB's "A Love Of Your Own," The Bee Gees' "Too Much Heaven" and Isley/Jasper/Isley's "Caravan of Love."  It will also include guest appearances by Hall & Oates, Average White Band and Bilal.
