Washington DC is known in Industry circles as an artistically fertile ground having unleashed on the world such soulfully romantic mainstays as Johnny Gill, Ginuine, and Raheem DeVaughn. Always in the shadow of the political arena, the music business in the mid-Atlantic has never received it's just due; that is until now, Enter Singer/Songwriter -Taurus Soul, an R&B vocal powerhouse - his songs all at once deeply romantic while brimming with the intense energy of a young man in his prime.

After years of development on the local scene Singer/Songwriter -Taurus Soul debuts with I'm Yours - his first volley in the R&B wars - a fourteen track collection of songs that showcase his vocal diversity and dexterity. Ladies be warned, once you're touched by his tender masculinity you'll definitely want him for your own...and so will your girlfriend, your sister, your auntie, your hairdresser, your manicurist...get the picture?

Singer/Songwriter -Taurus Soul was raised in a home with two avid music loving parents; it is with no coincidence that in addition to his spectacular live performance of original selections from his new CD "IM YOURS," Singer/Songwriter - "Taurus Soul" passionately embraces each song made famous by musical legends and greats (Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, and Marvin Gaye) with his very special powerfully soulful rendition.

While attending "Garfield Senior High School" Taurus Soul participated in the academic performing arts program studying Jazz and Classical voice. The Dominants Jazz Show Choir Ensemble is an award winning concert choir that Singer/Songwriter -Taurus Soul was a member of up until graduating. After graduating, Singer/Songwriter -Taurus Soul signed up with mentor, manager, and producer, Nigel Jackson's intense artist development company.

Singer/Songwriter -Taurus Soul was introduced into the world of recording, producing, songwriting, vocal coaching, music biz 101, and extensive artist development. With the help of Nigel Jackson, Singer/Songwriter -Taurus Soul developed into a bonafied vocal recording artist, and phenomenally exceptional songwriter.

Along the way, Singer/Songwriter -Taurus Soul has worked with super producer and songwriter "Ernesto Phillips" whose credit is being a member of 80's Urban Soul Group "Star Point" and discovering "Grammy Award winning vocalist" Toni Braxton and Grammy Award winning songwriter Makeba Riddick, who is credited for writing Grammy Award winning songs for "Beyonce." He also worked with and recorded with producer songwriter Ivan Hampden whose credit is "Luther Vandross, Diana Ross, Ashford and Simpson and others.
