Georgia-based performer Will Preston has been influenced by the great male soul singers of the 70s and 80s, and it shows on his debut album It's My Will. Preston has penned mostly love songs for the disc, and they're generally good. His singing is earnest, if occasionally a bit pitchy, and he comes off as a likable romantic singer. The album comes together especially well on the upbeat "My Love" and on the the title cut, a strong old-school ballad.
