It's true that Sexual Healing is the best song of the 80s and one the best songs of all time, but there are many great songs that Mr. Gaye recorded during 80s From his great albums Such as In Our Lifetime and Midnight Love that you can rank all of its tracks from 1 to 100. But Unfortunately many people and even Soul fans haven't heard them. Because they're not very famous, BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE! Because if there wasn't artists like Marvin, Stevie Wonder or Michael Jackson, I bet you wouldn't even put 80s in your rankings!
80s wasn't the great era in music, and you can't compare it to 70s or 60s for sure, but there are some timeless and great songs and albums by some timeless and great artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, and many more, but as you can see all of 'em are the 70s artists!
