Alice Ashley's CD "A Time Will Come"
Co-produced by Alice Ashley and Gil Askey of Motown fame was recently released. Details at www.aliceashley.com and www.cdbaby.com
According to CD Baby "this music is a very natural, effortless, funky blend of southern soul, gospel, smooth jazz and R&B pop influences. Alice met Gil while performing in Australia, they performed together many times. Gil Askey also plays trumpet on several tracks.

Gil Askey of Motown fame is now in his early eighties but his musical production talent is as great as it has always been.
The co-production of "A Time Will Come" with Alice Ashley (www.cdbaby.com/aliceashley or www.aliceashley.com) may well become a classic like a lot of the other Motown music that he was responsible for when he was the Musical Director there. Artists like Diana Ross, The Temptations and The Four Tops etc. also benefited from his musical genius. Alice with this album is a great addition to this group.
