Dallas-based musician Antwyn Jackson has a familiar backstory: a kid with natural talent from a musical family cuts his teeth in church before growing up and striking out on his own. But what sets the singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist apart from other musical overachievers is the quiet confidence of his voice. Armed with a range that rivals Frank Ocean's and a cool inspired by Frank Sinatra, Jackson is making a name for himself as a neo soul crooner.

Jackson's smooth new single “Still...” provides insight into the artist's influences and musical journey. He began singing at age ten and found early inspiration in Marvin Gaye, D'Angelo, Mint Condition (namely the group's lead singer Stokley Williams), and his father, who is also a singer. While honing his vocal talent, Jackson also learned to play the drums, piano, and organ. As a student at the University of North Texas, Jackson formed the R&B band One Night Stand with fellow artists Michael Hubbard and Kevin Pittman. He has shared the stage with Quentin Moore and Vandell Andrew and performed on the same bill as Musiq Soulchild, Lalah Hathaway, and jazz pianist Robert Glasper. Now, afters years of being soulfully groomed, Jackson is ready to embark on a solo career as an artist and storyteller for whom heart and cool are inseparable.
