(October 12, 2019) Oakland, California native Adesha has been on our radar for a few years, and for good reason. It seems that everything we hear from her is both hooky and extremely well performed, and she has a great sense of bridging the old and the new in her work.

Adesha’s newest is an ode to 80s funk, and it is just right for us. She tells us, "’Just Groove’ is a nod to one of my favorite bands of that time, Cameo. It's all about the groovy feels; you imagine roller skating, displays of swagaliciousness, and sexy neon lights. It's about submitting to the music when it calls you to move and not allowing others opinions of you stop you from living your best life. This song was a collaborative effort between me and international DJ Vincent Kwok. DJ Julius Papp, who is also internationally known is set to do a remix of the song as well.”
