(November 19, 2019) For decades now, Virginia has proven itself to be a true launching pad for some of music's best and brightest artists: Missy Elliott, D'Angelo, Timbaland, and Pharrell Williams, just to name a few, hail from "The Mother Of States." Jerel Crockett doesn't have the same name recognition – yet -- but from his burgeoning resume and delivery skills, the producer, songwriter and vocalist is definitely on the path to "next."

Thanks to his ambition and experience (co-production credits with Columus Short, Ledisi and Kenny Lattimore), Jerel's has been earning serious buzz with his regional hit single "No Pressure" before beginning a residency at National Harbor's MGM Casino and Resort and the release of his latest boudoir-bound groove, "We Go Up."

Simply put, Crockett's satiny vocals make his southern gentleman roots all the more apparent, sweet and sensual all at once as he promises to go as slow as she likes while both enjoy every inch along the way: "No worries, just getting started, let me know when you're ready for more.....there's a lot I want to show you."

"We Go Up" is yet another brick in Jerel's solid path to stardom, capable of setting off the quiet storm or helping to create one of your own behind closed door. Just like the catalogs of his VA predecessors, one listen won't be enough.
