Though still a student at Clark Atlanta University, McGhee bears the aura of two generations of artists – from Donny Hathaway to John Legend – who have combined simple piano arrangements with expressive, soulful vocals to create their own kind of magic. And it is that classic sound that fills JeRonelle’s new single, “You Just Don’t Care.”
