If Julien’s first single is any indication, this artist is prepared to meet his self-imposed challenge. Julien’s release, “The Longer You Leave It, The Harder It’s Gonna Get” - a song that serves as a reminder of the costs of putting off for tomorrow what should be done today - hits on a theme that is topical on so many levels. The actual theme of this soulful ballad is especially right on time because it addresses humanity’s unwillingness to address everything from global warming, to the Coronavirus pandemic to racism. However, the lyrics can also address the sins of omission that we commit in our personal lives.
