Well, time flies and this week Maitreya celebrates his 62nd birthday, and to celebrate he is sharing an appropriately titled single from his new album The Pegasus Project: Pegasus & The Swan.
“The Birthday Song” is a guitar-driven number that boasts elements of rock and funk, and even a bit of psychedelia. And up front are Matireya’s gorgeously recognizable raspy vocals. "Birthday" if the first single from the ambitious an album that 41 tracks presented as two sides - ‘Pegasus’ and ‘The Swan’ - that are summarised as “A Horse that flies & a Swan that never dies.”
