Jamaica native Sheena O. Murray migrated to Brooklyn, New York at the age of five and then moved to Florida at the age of nine. She began her musical journey while in High School as a theater geek performing in stage plays and musicals. She then transitioned, after those four years of campy musical theater performances, to vocal endeavors. Two girl groups proved unfulfilling and a solo career developed when she realized that she could carry her own on stage.

We recently came upon Sheena’s music and took an immediate liking. She has a rich alto voice that wraps very nicely around her compositions, and she shows both her voice and her songwriting chops on her new single, “One.” Says Sheena: I wrote "ONE"  and it was produced by Stephen D. Gibson.  It was written with the intention to make the listener feel and experience the idea of "oneness" between a lovers and in the broader sense, humanity. The song builds from the idea of two people experience a spiritual connection the opens up to let the world understand how we are all interconnected.
