Six-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Tamia is readying her summer album release Passion Like Fire, and if the first single, the brand new “Leave It Smokin’,” is any indication, it will be an album to watch out for.
The midtempo groove is itself "smokin," and, of course, the talent singer sounds as good as ever. Tamia says, “I co-wrote this song with my good friend, Salaam Remi. We always have fun in the studio. I’m beyond excited to continue my love of music and share the first single from my new project, Passion Like Fire.”
It is tough to believe it has been two decades since Tamia broke out with her debut album, following her guest appearance on Quincy Jones's "You Put A Move On My Heart," and they have been 20 years filled with consistently strong perfomances.
