(September 25, 2023) Prolific is just one of the words that can be used to describe Eric Roberson. He’s released 17 albums despite dealing with the challenges that an independent artist must confront, all while managing to turn many of those structural disadvantages into advantages.

Audacious is another word that can be used to describe the man known as Erro, and that is an apt word for his latest endeavor that includes his latest single “I Apologize.” The tune, a fusion of twangy guitar pop and percussive R&B that the steppers set will enjoy, is Roberson’s second release of the summer, following the folk inspired “Things Meant for Me.” Roberson plans to release one new single a month for the remainder of the year.

This song finds Roberson turning the concept of the apology song on its head. The only regret Roberson finds himself expressing that he didn’t find this lady sooner. Being so sure and happy in a relationship that the only thing you can find wrong is that didn’t start six months or a year earlier than it did is a good place to be.

“I Apologize” is classic Roberson. He’s spent his career redefining what it meant to be an independent artist, so it’s no shock that he can deftly flip the script on the apology song. Check out the brand new music video for Roberson’s “I Apologize” here.
