Tara King is a singer/songwriter and fashion designer that was born in Kansas and raised in Southern California. She blends the sounds of rock, pop, hip-hop and R&B to create her own unique style of music. Tara has written songs for other artists and has worked with producers such as Erick Sermon, Timothy Bloom and Dem Jointz. Coming off a six-month tour in Singapore, Tara King is ready to take the U.S. market by storm with an EP titled 'Kissed By a Bullet... Shot By Love' and the forthcoming release of her women's cut and sew clothing line called Mama Doña.

Tara took an early interest in music after her father, himself a singer, played classic soul throughout the house. After a brief period of working jobs and writing and recording on the side, Tara experienced a life-changing experience: after taking a wrong turn into a rough section of Los Angeles, she was caught in gang crossfire and was grazed by a stray bullet. She then vowed to give her music career her full attention, and she professes, things began to happen.
