"The last album was so difficult for me. I was coming off a vocal injury where I couldn't talk, couldn't sing. While I was recording every line, every chorus, every verse was a struggle. But now, with my voice restored, it's like my life has been flipped totally upside down" says JoAnn.
She wrote nine of the ten tracks on the CD, which exudes power from "Restore" (beginning) to "There Is A City" (end) with "Beautiful Son" (written by JoAnn and produced by Chris Rodriguez) being closest to her heart. With a team like Chris Rodriguez; award winning producer Aaron Lindsey (Israel and New Breed); Antonio Neal (EMI Recording Artist) and Fred Jerkins (Dark Child) collaborating with her on this CD it's not only HOT but worth the money.
