Back in March 2017, long before most here Stateside even knew who she was, we featured the enchanting UK soulstress Ella Mai in a First Listen for her track “Boo’d Up” from her most recent EP, Ready. Since that time, she has been supporting Kehlani on tour and otherwise making her artistry known here. And according to the most recent Mediabase charts, Ella’s track is now on the Top 10 Taking Off chart on Urban AC and Urban radio as well as on the Urban Top Ads and Top 10 Spincrease charts. So give Ella a second listen, or if you somehow missed her last year, a first!
