R&B Hall of Fame announces 2024 nominees

    December 6, 2023 (Detroit, MI) - This past September the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame hosted its 12th annual induction ceremony to a sold-out crowd that seen some big names from the likes of New Edition, Aaliyah, and Hall & Oates be inducted, and again some of the world's biggest names in the music industry have been nominated for enshrinement into the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame for the Class of 2024.   

    Leading this year's 2024 class of 40 nominees are Beyonce, Elton John, Bell Biv DeVoe, Jay-Z, John Legend, Berry Gordy, So So Def, Usher, Clive Davis, Mary J Blige, The Isley Brothers, Chaka Khan, Xscape, and Tony Toni Tone.

    Leading this year's 2024 class of 40 nominees are Beyonce, Elton John, Bell Biv DeVoe, Jay-Z, John Legend, Berry Gordy, So So Def, Usher, Clive Davis, Mary J Blige, The Isley Brothers, Chaka Khan, Xscape, and Tony Toni Tone.

    The goal of the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame Foundation is to build a state-of-the-art facility to celebrate the 300 plus R&B artists that have been inducted since 2013, including James Brown, Prince, B.B. King, New Edition, The O'Jays, The Temptations, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, Jackie Wilson, and Whitney Houston. 

    The 13th Annual National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame Music Weekend will be on August 16th, through 18th. This year's inductees will be announced at a press conference on February 7, 2024. Both the press conference and induction ceremony will be live streamed on www.rbhof.com.
