Beyonce to release new album in November

Music World Music/Columbia Records will release the third full-length studio album from the international superstar and cultural icon Beyoncé on Tuesday, November 18.
One of 2008's most hotly anticipated new album releases, Beyoncé's as-yet-untitled upcoming album marks the artist's first new studio collection since the Grammy-winning multi-platinum-selling B'Day debuted at #1 on charts around the world shortly after its international release on September 4, 2006 (in celebration of Beyoncé's 25th birthday).
Beyoncé's fans will get their first glimpse of the artist's new album with the simultaneous release of two of the album's key tracks -- "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies" -- scheduled to impact radio on October 7.
With all songs co-written and co-produced by Beyoncé, the artist's third studio album is her most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date.
Lensed live at Radio City Music Hall on September 5, Beyoncé's spectacular performance at the "Fashion Rocks" fifth anniversary extravaganza, a star-studded concert honoring the relationship between music and fashion, will be broadcast on CBS on Tuesday, September 9 at 9pm (ET/PT). I try to stay positive when it comes to Beyonce. Heard the Single Ladies record and it is nothing but different words to the Get me Bodied song. With so much of sampling off other peoples records, we are hearing the same songs just sung a different way with one or two new lines and hooks added. Her albums were good but we all know that with Beyonce money it will come out being great when in fact it isnt. Much success.

Let me first say- that I am not a hater...but I must agree with the previous post. Her music is NOT original - while she's not the only artist but she gets away with it without being challenged. Her music consists of some contrived hook- same beat-style-dance moves- and almost nothing clothing to sell a record. It upsets me because kids these days believes that it's music and it's not. It's not original, it's not timeless, it just something that will play forever and ever on mainstream/payola radio and she'll once again be nominated for tones of awards and we'll be inundated with constant images of her "brand" ENOUGH- damn! Quite frankly she is not Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole, Mary J. Blige women with stories to tell and tell them well via melodies and lyrics that are authentic and something you can truly feel. You can't PRETEND to be something you're not- that's why it doesn't translate to REAL music lovers. Just good enough to add $$$ to her bank account and too much subtracted from the culture of music. Poor us. :(
