WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 -- Award-winning musician, songwriter and producer Nile Rodgers announces an initial line-up of performers for the 2009 Heroes Red, White & Blue Inaugural Ball on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Warner Theatre. The concert -- "Legends Past, Present and Future" -- brings together multi-generational music icons to honor wounded servicemen and women recently returned from Iraq and Afghanistan, their families, active-duty personnel serving overseas, military leaders and other honored guests. The event will benefit USO and TAPS and will be broadcast in its entirety to military bases around the world via the Pentagon Channel, reaching 2.4 million military personnel around the world.
