(November 2, 2016) ATLANTIC CITY - Four innovative R&B artists will come together for the first-ever Note for Note - a unique benefit concert for the American Cancer Society to be held on Sunday, November 13 hosted by Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City. The brainchild of Grammy-nominated producer and artist Eric Roberson, the concert experience features twice Grammy-nominated Ledisi, along with the equally impressive R&B and neo-soul artists Tank, Bilal, and Roberson himself. The show is scheduled for 7 pm, and tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.

Producer Eric "Erro" Roberson is no stranger to cancer, a disease that has affected at least ten family members. Eric recounts some of his earliest memories, a favorite aunt's battle with brain cancer, through his adult life when his mother-in-law was diagnosed with stomach cancer. And while he is grateful for those who have survived - he has also experienced deep loss. Being a caregiver is at the root of his desire is to find more cures. Roberson believes in the power of music to help those affected by cancer to get through the experience. "Music as a whole can be a soundtrack to so many things," said Roberson. "A few years back, a young guy no older than 35 years old - went through a serious bout with cancer. He told me that my song, "Obstacles" got him through his toughest chemo moments. The song is really about a relationship with a girl, but there are undertones of inspiration and faith. That's the hope we have when we put out a song - that it lifts someone up." Note for Note promises to be a night of uplifting, vibrant, soulful music.

Roberson will be joined by Ledisi, a top adult contemporary R&B artist best known for her albums, Pieces of Me, Turn Me Loose, and The Truth. Ledisi also appeared as the legendary Mahalia Jackson in the 2015 movie, Selma. Special guest artists include Tank and Bilal.  "Bilal is probably the best male vocalists we've had in the last 15 years. He's an alien when it comes to vocals," said Roberson, "And Tank has been taking the music world by storm. We have three of the best singers in the business.

In addition to honoring survivors and raising funds for research, Roberson hopes to raise awareness about cancer prevention and screening programs to help people stay healthy. His ultimate desire is for the event to evolve into a three-day music festival that results in cancer research breakthroughs. Tickets for the event range from $100 to $175, available at Harrah's and through Ticketmaster. The latter include a post-concert VIP party with the artists, hosted by Harrah's.
