(December 10, 2023) It has been a year of ups and downs for legendary singer and songwriter Will Downing.
The saddest time came as Will lost his daughter, Aron Siobhan Downing, But those who know Will are not surprised that he used this tragedy as a way to reach others who may be struggling with mental health, as she did. The result was his song, “Till We Meet Again,” a beautiful tribute that Will hoped "could provide comfort and support to anyone who is struggling with suicidal thoughts, and mental health challenges, and to remind them that they are not alone. It's important that we break the stigma around mental health and suicide and encourage people to seek help when they need it."

“Till We Meet Again” touched us and it certainly touched SoulTrackers, who voted it as the Song of the Year in the 2023 SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Awards. On top of that, Will received Male Vocalist of The Year for the 7th time, making him the most awarded male vocalist in SoulTracks awards history. It is a fitting ending to 2023 for one of the truly good guys in the music business, and an artist who has been delivering tasty soulful jams for three decades.
