(March 24, 2019) Every year, soul music fans from around the world flock to the suburbs of Washington, DC for a one of a kind event -- and really a soul music lover's dream: The Capital Jazz Fest. SoulTrackers know that we're big fans of the Jazz Fest and the Capital Jazz Supercruise, because every year they outdo themselves in bringing in the talent.

Started in 1993, this multi-day, multi-stage outdoor music festival, which attracts music lovers nationwide, is more than just a concert, it's an event, a place to people-watch, eat, drink, shop, mingle, relax, soak in the rays, and hear some of the coolest jazz and soul music on the planet.

The festival atmosphere continues with a large marketplace for fine art and crafts, culinary treats at the food court, and meet & greets with the artists.

To call this an all-star lineup doesn’t even do it justice. How about names like Babyface, Gladys Knight, Gregory Porter, India.Arie, Kem, Kenny Lattimore, Stephanie Mills, Joe, and Phil Perry? Then add on Brian McKnight, Kindred The Family Soul, Leela James, Gerald Albright, Patti Austin and many, many more headliners, and you have a one-of-a-kind experience for soul and jazz lovers. And it will all be completed with the Farewell Tour of George Clinton, with Parliament/Funkadelic.
