Cornell “CC” Carter has been gracing stages and entertaining fans with his signature sound around the world for many years. He has shared the stage with such legends as James Brown, Ray Charles and The Temptations, and has worked with Grammy Award winning producer Narada Michael Walden (Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin). However, it is during the past few years that he has really made a name for himself, breaking out as a top tier solo artist and winning more fans for his personal brand of melodic, soulful music.
Cornell has just released his highly anticipated new album of all original material titled One Love. We featured the first single from the album, “That Feelin’,” and SoulTrackers loved it. Now the full album is here and it was worth the wait. With a sound that will definitely appeal to soul audiences, he has fashioned a breezy disc that shows both his songwriting chops and his expressive, rangy voice. He has made it his mission to continue the soul music legacy.
