Talk about a dream combination. Three of the greatest singers of the disco era, Evelyn "Champagne" King, Linda Clifford and Martha Wash, have joined together to form the First Ladies of Disco. Named after the book by James Arena, these three legends have just released their debut single, "Show Some Love," on Purple Rose Records.
"This empowering and timely anthem perfectly showcases the vocal dynamics of each of these groundbreaking and chart-topping divas," say James Washington, head of A&R at Purple Rose Records, and creator and brand manager for First Ladies Of Disco LLC. The song was produced and co-written by the team of Zach Adam and Heather Holly. It is a hot track with a punchy rock underpinning, fronted by the ladies' powerful pipes.
