May 9, 2018 – The twists, turns and challenges of relationships have often inspired songwriters to deliver their finest work. The alt soul/R&B artist Amber Mark deftly explores those deep waters with her recently-released second EP, Conexão, which means “connection” in Portuguese.
Mark takes her craft to another level on this release, which places her lovely vocals atop rich, organic instrumentation and memorable melodies. We feature here the title track, which gently sways to an island vibe and is reminiscent of Sade’s early work.
