For his latest album, Honestly, James recruited collaborators and musicians whose work he admires, and the result was another hit album. Boney has just issued a new single from the disc that features multiple SoulTracks Award Winner Eric Roberson. “If I Can’t Hold You” is a adult soul gem that tells the story of a man left with a broken heart after the departure of his love. Erro sounds great, and Boney has created the near perfect backdrop.
