This is the affirmative acronym for B.O.S.S, consisting of core members - multi-instrumentalist/producer Abdul Malik Abbott (AKA DJ ABBY AB) and singer/songwriter Natalieq (AKA Natalie Ridley). And since they began their independent music ride in 2010, their instinctive teamwork in dropping sensual tracks of the highest order has kept the Soul Tracks family craving for even more edgy, smooth romance, all dressed in sophisticated instrumentation decked in urban/pop music flavors, reggae and a dash of experimentation. In fact, their popularity is well-documented three times over on First Listens with the ambient, neo-soul dipped, "Mind," the heart-wrenching ballad, "Let It All Go" and the electro funky, "Temporary Love."

After a two year artistic hiatus, B.O.S.S. returns again to First Listen with the Island Remix of "Major Love" (Blue Music Productions). The video stars Natalieq wearing a colorful straight jacket, ready to burst out in expressing her unapologetic, unashamed yearning for love. Yet, don’t let the cool clothing distract your ears, as the sweet Euro-savory grooves on “Major Love” provided by Abbott’s free flowing bass guitar and the musical menu of brass, guitar and keys, sooth the senses in a subtle Reggae style. As in the past, the multi-tasking Abbott handles the video directing and editing, resulting in an outright sexy mid-tempo summer jam that is appealing musically and compelling visually. In the meantime, we welcome back Big On Sexy Sounds with their island remixed, “Major Love.”
