Music fans may not know the name David Washington, but they know his music. As a co-founder of the group Chapter 8, David was part of the act's three popular albums in the late 70s and early 80s. And that group spawned the career of one of the great soul singers of our time, Anita Baker.
After his time with Chapter 8, David continued to work with many popular musicians and now has come to the forefront, releasing his own music. The first single from David's upcoming EP is the uptempo number, "Games."
Says David about the song: 'I originally wrote the song for Detroit blues and R&B singer Jimmy Scott back in 1990 as a funk song. When I decided to record my solo CD I felt that 'Games' would be a good choice to revamp and re release it. This time I reworked it as a hustle groove and it worked well so I recorded the video to go along with it and they both have been received well."
