(September 3, 2021) Diana Ross made her fans ecstatic back in June when she released her first new single in 15 years and teased about a upcoming full album. Well, the original release date of the album has been pushed back a bit, but Queen Diana has delivered a second single that should get her crew dancing.

“If The World Just Danced” is a bouncy number produced by the Grammy winning collective Triangle Park. It features a steady four-on-the-floor beat and lots of electronics all around. And up front is Ross’s familiar voice, a bit thicker in tone than her early solo work, but every bit as attractive.

The upbeat track is an innocuous counter to the midtempo earlier single, “Thank You,” but feels more like it will ultimately be an album cut than as a second single.
